These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the sale of our digital guides and the use of this website. Please read them before placing an order. By completing a purchase you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms.

We sell digital guides for download after payment is confirmed. Each product page states the main characteristics of the guide, its format, and its price. Where we offer subscriptions or credit packages, they are described on their own pages and are also governed by these Terms.
The guides provide general information and educational content. They are not individual professional, legal, financial or tax advice.
Prices are shown in euro (EUR) on each product page. The total amount payable is shown before you confirm the order. We may change prices at any time, but the price that applies to your order is the one displayed at the moment you place it.
The Seller is not registered in the VAT system (small-taxpayer special procedure), so VAT is not charged and the displayed price is the final price.
You order by selecting a guide and completing checkout. Payment is made by bank transfer. After you place the order we issue a proforma invoice (predračun) with our IBAN, the amount, and a payment reference. Please transfer the exact amount using that reference.
Bank account: Zagrebacka banka, IBAN HR8123600001103062542. If we do not record your payment within 14 days, the proforma invoice and the order may be cancelled. Card payment may be offered in the future; if enabled, the same Terms apply.
Your order is a binding offer. The contract is concluded when we confirm receipt of your payment, at which point we send you an order and payment confirmation on a durable medium (email).
The guide is delivered electronically. After we confirm your payment we grant access to the download through your account and a secure link, normally without undue delay. No physical goods are shipped and there are no delivery costs. Please provide a correct email address and make sure you can open the file (for example with a PDF reader). If you do not receive access after your payment is confirmed, contact us at info@mischkastudio.com and we will resolve it.
If you are a consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason.
Exception for downloadable digital guides
Our guides are digital content supplied electronically for immediate use. For this type of product the right of withdrawal is lost once we begin providing the content, provided you have given your prior express consent and acknowledged the loss of that right. Because of this, at checkout you must confirm the statement below before we grant access. We repeat this consent and acknowledgement in the confirmation we send you by email.
Required confirmation at checkout: "I request that Mischka Studio begin providing the digital guide immediately and I give my express prior consent to this. I acknowledge that once the download or access begins I lose my right to withdraw from the contract." Where you give this consent, the 14-day withdrawal right no longer applies once access is granted following confirmed payment. Until access is granted you may still cancel and receive a refund of any amount paid. This exclusion is based on Article 86(1)(13) of the Consumer Protection Act and Article 16(1)(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.
The statutory consumer rights in this section, including the 14-day right of withdrawal, apply only to consumers. Business customers (legal persons, and natural persons acting for business purposes) do not have the consumer right of withdrawal.
When you buy a guide you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own personal or internal business purposes. The content remains our intellectual property.
You may not:
If a digital guide does not match its description or is not fit for its purpose, you are entitled to the statutory remedies for non-conformity of digital content, independently of the right of withdrawal.
You may submit a written complaint about the product or the sale by email, quoting your order reference. We will confirm receipt without delay.
We will reply to your complaint in writing within 15 days of receiving it.
The guides provide general information and you apply them at your own discretion. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or business decisions taken on the basis of a guide. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Croatian law, including a consumer's mandatory rights and liability for intent or gross negligence. For business customers, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the relevant product.
These Terms are governed by Croatian law. We aim to resolve any dispute amicably, so please contact us first at info@mischkastudio.com.
If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, a consumer may bring it before the competent court or use out-of-court alternative dispute resolution (ADR) before a notified Croatian body, such as the mediation body of the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts (Hrvatska obrtnicka komora). Note: the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform ceased operating on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.
We may amend these Terms. The version in force at the time you place an order applies to that order. We publish the current Terms on this page with the date of the last update.
